We Carry Forward the Legacy the Gold Series Brought to the Industry, With Pro Gold
We are proud to present Pro Gold Series 8mm, the evolution of our product that put the Gold Series on the industry map, developed with our R&D engineering team's renewed profile and accessory structure. With 8mm tempered Şişecam panels, a secure mechanism that locks with a single touch via the espagnolette handle, and the PVC gasket/aluminum seal combination between the glass panes, the Pro Gold Series raises the sealing standard of folding glass balcony systems to its peak.
The Pro Gold Series offers a shake-free, long-lasting usage experience for homes facing north, windy high floors, or seaside summer houses. Its extruded aluminum frame, with a wall thickness of 3.5mm, does not flex or vibrate in storms. The drip-edge water drainage channels instantly expel any water that may seep into the profile during heavy rain, keeping your balcony always dry and hygienic.
The 8 stainless-steel ball-bearing roller mechanism used on all panels — 4 at the bottom and 4 at the top — carries the heavy glass load in a balanced way, offering smooth and silent sliding comfort even with a fingertip touch. The patented espagnolette locking system, which eliminates the breaking and loosening problems of corded locks, creates a deterrent security barrier for your home.
6 Key Details That Set Pro Gold Apart
Espagnolette Handle
A patented innovation from Real Glass Balcony! A far more practical, unbreakable, and elegant espagnolette handle compared to standard corded locks.
Wind Lock
A stopper system that holds the glass panels together against the wind while open, preventing them from clashing into each other and causing noise.
Aluminum & PVC Gasket
A non-yellowing aluminum gasket or specially designed PVC seal applied between the glass panes eliminates wind and dust infiltration entirely.
Water Drainage Channel
Thanks to the drip-edge frame design and hidden water drainage channels, say goodbye to water leaking in during heavy downpours!
8-Bearing Stainless Steel Rollers
With a total of 8 stainless-steel ball-bearing rollers per glass panel — 4 on top, 4 on the bottom — movement is uninterrupted, silent, and free of sagging.
Curtain-Track Adjustment Profile
Compatible with all Pro Gold series; it both supports the use of pleated curtains and allows millimeter-precise installation on unlevel balconies.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 20 most commonly asked technical and installation questions about our Pro Gold Series 8mm system:
1. Do the panels sag over time in the Pro Gold 8mm folding glass balcony system? ▼
No. The Real Pro Gold 8mm series uses a total of 8 stainless-steel ball-bearing rollers per panel — 4 on the bottom and 4 on the top. The 3.5mm-thick base profile and adjustable stopper locks completely prevent sagging.
2. What is the advantage of the espagnolette handle system over classic corded glass balcony locks? ▼
It completely eliminates the plastic lock breakage and cord-snapping issues common in classic glass balconies. It locks onto the top and bottom rails with a single motion, offering 100% security and zero flex.
3. How is water sealing achieved in the Pro Gold 8mm system? ▼
Thanks to the integrated drip edge and hidden drainage channels in the bottom frame profile, any water that enters during heavy rain is automatically drained outside before it can accumulate inside the profile.
4. Can curtains be installed on the Pro Gold 8mm folding glass balcony? ▼
Yes. Thanks to our special curtain-track adjustment profile option, pleated curtains or accordion-style screen systems can be flawlessly integrated onto the panels.
5. Are the Pro Gold 8mm glass panels resistant to strong winds? ▼
Yes. Thanks to its 3.5mm heavy-duty extruded aluminum body, 8mm tempered Şişecam panels, and aluminum interlocking gaskets, it shows full resistance to storm-force winds on high floors.
6. Can Pro Gold 8mm be installed on oval, L-shaped, or U-shaped angled balconies? ▼
Yes. Thanks to angled corner-turning profiles and adjustable caps, it is applied with 100% compatibility to any balcony architecture — L-shaped, U-shaped, oval, or circular.
7. Is a transparent gasket or an aluminum gasket used? ▼
Our systems come standard with lifetime aluminum gasket and PVC seal options featuring brush-insulation channels that don't yellow or crack under sunlight.
8. How is the Pro Gold 8mm glass balcony cleaned? ▼
Since all glass panels fold inward at a 90-degree angle from the exit guide, they can be cleaned 100% safely from inside your home — with 100% safety, even on high floors, without leaning outside.
9. Is a municipal permit required for a glass balcony? ▼
Since folding glass balcony systems are classified as portable, removable, lightweight architectural elements, no permit is required, in line with precedent rulings from the Court of Cassation.
10. Do the Pro Gold 8mm roller bearings rust? ▼
No. Our bearings are made from 316-grade stainless steel balls and a wear-resistant polyamide coating. They carry a 10-year parts warranty against rust and corrosion.
11. What is the purpose of the wind-lock stopper? ▼
It's a patented fastening mechanism that prevents the panels from closing uncontrollably and clashing into each other and breaking due to wind, when they're open and folded together.
12. How are Pro Gold 8mm price-per-square-meter rates calculated? ▼
Prices are calculated based on the balcony's width x height measurements, the chosen glass color (clear, smoked, bronze, reflective), and the aluminum profile's powder-coating code.
13. How many hours does the Pro Gold 8mm installation take? ▼
For a standard balcony pre-assembled in our factory, on-site installation by our certified expert teams is completed in an average of 3 to 4 hours.
14. What profile color options are available? ▼
Besides our standard colors — anthracite gray (RAL 7016), black (RAL 9005), white, and bronze — all RAL colors and wood-grain finishes can be applied in our electrostatic paint facility.

Yes. Thanks to unbreakable tempered Şişecam safety glass and a lockable espagnolette locking system, it creates a 100% safe space for children and pets.
16. Does it corrode in seaside and coastal areas? ▼
No. Real Marine Series Qualicoat powder-coated aluminum profiles and stainless-steel accessories are guaranteed against corrosion caused by salty sea air.

Heat-treated tempered glass has 5 times the impact resistance of ordinary glass. Even if it does break, it shatters into small, non-sharp pieces, preventing injury.
18. Does Pro Gold 8mm provide sound insulation? ▼
Thanks to the thick 8mm tempered glass and aluminum gasket seals, it reduces street noise and outdoor sounds by 20-25 dB, providing a peaceful environment.
