DETAILED OVERVIEW

What Sets Optimum Slide Apart

Optimum Slide is a new-generation sliding glass balcony system in which panels glide along tracks, pulling each other along and stacking on top of one another. Since there are no panels that fold inward into the balcony, you don't need to move your furniture or belongings.

  • ✔ Stainless-steel double-bearing mechanism with a 150 kg load capacity.
  • ✔ 3-track, 4-track, and 5-track profile options for wide spans.
  • ✔ Full wind/sound isolation with a special locking interlock profile and EPDM gasket.
PROJECT CASE ANALYSIS

Optimum Slide's Solution to Wind and Limited Space on a Balcony

Problem: On a narrow terrace balcony in a high-rise complex, the inward-folding panels completely blocked the table and seating area. In addition, strong wind was causing the glass to vibrate and hum.

Real's Solution: A 5-track Real Optimum Slide Sliding Glass Balcony, delivering zero space loss, was installed. Locked aluminum interlock profiles and a stainless-steel pool-lock system were integrated between the panels.

Result: A spacious usable area was achieved without narrowing the balcony; thanks to ±2400 Pa wind resistance, noise and vibration were completely eliminated.

FROM OUR CUSTOMERS

Customer Experiences

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Since our balcony was quite narrow, a folding system would have taken up too much space folding inward. We installed the Optimum Slide sliding model, and since the panels glide along the track, we didn't lose a single inch of space. Very smooth and high quality."

Emre K.

Interior Designer

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"We had the threshold model installed for our terrace. It didn't let in a single drop of water during heavy rain and the southwesterly storm, and the rollers glide so smoothly you can push them with a fingertip. I definitely recommend it."

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is the Difference Between Optimum Slide and Folding Glass? ▼
In a folding glass balcony, panels fold and gather inward, whereas in the Optimum Slide system, panels slide left and right along the track and stack on top of one another. It doesn't collide with your balcony furniture and delivers zero space loss.
Should I Choose a Threshold or Thresholdless Frame? ▼
A "threshold" frame is recommended for balconies and terraces exposed to outdoor weather, for wind and water drainage. For cafes, restaurants, or indoor office partitions, the flush-to-floor "thresholdless" model, which allows unobstructed passage, is preferred.
Does a Sliding Glass Balcony Make Noise in Strong Wind? ▼
No. The registered aluminum interlock profiles and double-row EPDM gaskets at the panel joints lock the panels together. It has received a full score in the EN 12210 ±2400 Pa wind test.
How Is a Sliding Glass Balcony Cleaned? ▼
Panels can be conveniently wiped down by sliding them one by one over each other. In the Optimum Slide series, the panels can also be detached for cleaning, if needed, by removing the safety stoppers.
What Is the Warranty Period for the Optimum Slide System? ▼
Our system carries a full 2-year warranty against manufacturing and installation defects by our authorized dealers, and a 10-year parts warranty on stainless-steel bearings and aluminum profiles.
